National Society of the Children of the American Revolution

Plano, Texas

Home Society of the 2017–2018 T.S.C.A.R. State President

The Matthew Bolton Society, N.S.C.A.R. was founded in 2003 to serve Plano, TX, and the surrounding communities.  We currently have over 70 members ranging in age from newborn to college. Our members and seniors are also active in the Texas Society serving as state officers and chairmen.

We hold monthly meetings August through April each year.  Many of our meetings are held in the Plano area, but occasionally we participate in activities in and around Dallas.

The Children of the American Revolution teaches boys and girls of all ages about our country’s history and to appreciate their own heritage along with the role their ancestors played in founding this great nation.  Through fun programs and activities children learn to appreciate our veterans, help other children, and support their community.  Our meetings are run by our members using Parliamentary procedures, preparing them to be future leaders.

Membership is open to children who are lineally descended from a person who directly aided the cause of the American revolution.
